What a year it has been for Syrinscape!
2025 has been an amazing year for Syrinscape! We’ve built many hours of content, played many games, explored everything sound can do at the gaming table and had fun connecting with the community at shows and online. To help celebrate 2025, we’ve gathered together some fun stats you might find interesting, including the most played back content in Syrinscape, but first a little insight into the thing we’ve been working hardest on this year.
Syrinscape Nova launched
Obviously the REALLY big thing for us has been getting Syrinscape Nova to EARLY ACCESS. We started off January, working with the Syrinscape team, gathering together all the feedback we have ever received, dreaming big and bringing as many ideas as possible to the table [pun intended]. We then tested these ideas with a wonderful group of alpha testers who gave us absolutely brilliant, detailed and frank feedback. We believe this process has put us firmly on the right track to delivering something the Syrinscape community REALLY wants and needs.

Finally in early December, we decided it was time to pull the trigger and let people see Syrinscape Nova! There are still a few important features missing, and a few bugs, but we are SUPER happy that people can now play with this wonderful new Syrinscape tool.
With Syrinscape Nova, we hope we will be able to AGAIN revolutionise the way people use sound at the gaming table. We’ve done that twice before: first with the original Syrinscape Fantasy Player (bringing immersive, never-repeating, customizable audio to TTRPGs for the first time), second bringing Syrinscape’s huge library and amazing sound machine to remote play with the Web Player. With its super-streamlined and intuitive interface, we truly believe Syrinscape Nova will open up immersive, cinematic sound to even more people at the gaming table, helping to make games great wherever people are brave enough to play!

Try out Syrinscape Nova for yourself! Read more on the Nova Landing Page, or just drop straight in on nova.syrinscape.com. The whole point of Syrinscape Nova is being zero-explanation-easy-to-use!

We’ve made a Soundboard of specifically curated content available to non-subscribers during the EARLY ACCESS period, and of course, Fantasy and SuperSyrin subscribers enjoy full access to the whole Nova library.
New content in Syrinscape
So while all this has been going on, what else has happened in Syrinscape? We love a good Year in Review, so here are a few stats from the Syrinscape servers too. Here we go!
Built by Syrinscape content creators
This year, Syrinscape’s in-house content creators created more than 4000 brand new music tracks and samples with a total duration of more than 35 hours. Our content creators mixed Syrinscape’s now 55K strong sample library into more than 2500 lovingly crafted ambiences, grouped into more than 250 new SoundSets (supporting adventures from all the great RPG publishers, including Wizards of the Coast with Dungeons & Dragons, Paizo with Pathfinder and Starfinder, Chaosium with Call of Cthulhu, Kobold Press and many others).
Content uploads by the Syrinscape community
It wasn’t only the Syrinscape content creators doing sound work either! Syrinscape users uploaded more than 30,000 samples at a total duration of 78 days (that’s almost seven million seconds of audio)!
Content created by AI
Absolutely ZERO. Read more about this in Syrinscape’s AI policy FAQ section. And join the discussion about the policy on the Syrinscape Forums.
